Ron was instrumental in building a new annex for a school in Far Rockaway, Queens. Overcrowding was becoming an issue due to the development in the area. The annex now houses up to 200 students. In the past students would have to be in a room where two classes were being taught at the same time.  The principal of the school, John M. Quattrocchi was grateful to Ron Hershco for providing a solution to their school’s capacity issues.
